Padel Association of India – Driving Growth and Governance

Registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, PAI operates under its Bye-Laws in full compliance with the National Sports Governance Act, 2025 and the International Padel Federation (FIP) statutes, making it the only legitimate authority for Padel in the country.

Our mission is to make padel accessible, inclusive, and sustainable — creating pathways for athletes, coaches, clubs, and volunteers to thrive at every level of the sport. Guided by our 2025–2028 Development Plan, PAI is scaling court infrastructure, conducting transparent national competitions, building certified coaching and refereeing pathways, and driving strong community engagement.

Today, PAI has an established national footprint across 21+ states, supported by an active national circuit, operational academies, and a published ranking system featuring 250+ ranked players. With 100+ certified coaches already active and ambitious targets to certify 2,000 coaches and 300 referees by 2028, PAI is laying the foundation for long-term growth.

Vision

Our vision is to transform padel from an emerging sport into one of India’s most recognized and celebrated activities. We aspire to see padel courts across both urban and rural communities, Indian players competing on global stages, and the sport contributing meaningfully to India’s national sporting identity.

Key Pillars

To build and grow the sport of Padel across the country, we have identified six core pillars that will guide our strategy and execution

Infrastructure

Rapidly expand padel infrastructure by building courts nationwide, ensuring accessibility across regions, and solidifying the sport’s position as a mainstream game for every Indian player.

Partnerships

Forge strong alliances with clubs, schools, authorities, and leisure operators to fuel both organic and inorganic growth, ensuring long-term development and stronger integration of padel.

Promotion

Build brand identity, digital presence, and communities. By 2027–28, promotions will scale via flagship events and partner rollouts, driving recognition, visibility, and brand elevation.
